Compostable Cups and Indigenous Art Connection

When looking at designs for Birunji’s cups the goal was to collaborate with a business that can allow our customers to connect with country and experience the essence of Aboriginal culture whilst enjoying a cup of coffee. Yinjaa-Barni Art embodies this, and we are honoured to be able to partner up with them and respectfully display just a glimpse of the remarkable talent these artists possess.
So not only do our products offer the advantage of being environmentally friendly and supporting local Pilbara artists, but they also incorporate the new era of modern technology.
Each coffee cup will feature a QR code, offering our customers direct access to the art group. The QR code leads our customers to Yinjaa-Barni Art’s sales page, creating another business steam for potential customers for Yinjaa-Barni Art.

Our AS5810 certified cups are the perfect solution for anyone seeking an eco-friendly alternative to traditional coffee cups.
Our coffee cups have a 12-month shelf life from the date of purchase and should be stored in dry conditions and away from direct sunlight. If stored below 35°C, the shelf life can be much longer.
No misleading information, no greenwashing, no plastic or bioplastic (PLA) lining, just 100% certified home compostability products.
Are you aware that many paper cups labeled as biodegradable may contain plastics to prevent leaking? Making recycling these cups difficult. At Birunji, we have removed the need for commercial breakdown in industrial landfills. The pulp in our cups have an aqueous barrier technology embedded within the process, making them waterproof and preventing leakage.
